Plagiarism Policy
Overview
The International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Mechanics and Energy (IJISME) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing.
Plagiarism in any form is considered unacceptable and constitutes a serious violation of publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, including copying text, ideas, figures, or data from other sources without proper acknowledgment.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
Direct plagiarism: Copying text or results from another source without citation.
Self-plagiarism: Reusing significant portions of the author’s previously published work without proper citation.
Mosaic plagiarism: Combining text from different sources while making only minor modifications.
Improper citation: Failing to properly credit the original authors.
Data or figure plagiarism: Using tables, figures, or datasets from other works without permission or citation.
Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts submitted to IJISME are checked using professional plagiarism detection software before being sent for peer review.
The similarity report is carefully examined by the editorial office to ensure compliance with the journal’s originality standards.
Similarity Threshold
The journal applies the following similarity guidelines:

15–25% similarity → Manuscript may be returned to authors for revision
More than 25% similarity → Manuscript may be rejected
High similarity from references, methodological descriptions, or commonly used scientific terminology may be excluded from the final assessment.
